We have been raising Doxies for 15 years.  We have found that once they get you trained everything goes as smooth as silk.  If you are nice to them they may even let you share YOUR  bed or chair with them. Doxies are also known for their distorted vision.  They think they are giants or what they see is reduced in size. Or they have no fear, Or they have no brains. At any rate I have never seen one back down from a fight. Well, almost never..
